Usually, late spring (May-June) & early fall (September-October) are the best times to visit Romania. Think pleasant weather and fewer crowds, perfect for exploration (and ice cream)!
Romania’s weather keeps things interesting! Summers (June-August) are warm, around 25°C to 30°C, perfect for beach days or castle-hopping. Winters (December-February) drop to chilly lows of -2°C to 5°C. Spring and autumn tend to be mild (10°C to 20°C). But it’s always a good idea to bring layers & an umbrella with you.

You’ll find ATMs almost everywhere in the cities. But make sure to carry some cash if you’re visiting more rural spots. Oh, and the ATMs here are multi-lingual! They speak both Romanian and English.

Tipping isn’t mandatory, but it’s definitely appreciated. You can round up your bill or leave about 10-15% at restaurants if you really love the food & service.
