clear searchThere are many archipelagos around the world where you can hop from beautiful island to beautiful island. In Europe, some of the most popular island hopping destinations are Greece (where you can enjoy the white sands and beautiful architecture of Santorini, Ios and Mykonos), Croatia and Turkey. If you're looking for somewhere in Asia, Thailand is always a good option, with legendary paradise bays, excellent scuba options and famed party islands like Koh Samui and Koh Tao. There are also beautiful islands off the coast of Ecuador.
On the East Coast, we recommend Koh Samui, Koh Tao, Koh Chang, and Koh Pha Ngan, which all offer plenty of chances for kayaking, snorkelling, diving or simply soaking up the sun. On the West Coast, the most popular islands are Krabi, Koh Phi Phi and Koh Phayam. Phuket is one of the most popular destinations in Thailand – and is also an awesome basecamp for visiting surrounding areas like the James Bond island or the Surin Islands.
For the perfect Thailand island hopping experience, we recommend a minimum of 9 days. This should give you plenty of time to explore, try out the different water sports, enjoy the iconic nightlife and relax on some of the most heavenly beaches on earth.
The best islands for Greek island hopping are Naxos, Paros, Mykonos, Ios, Rhodes, Santorini, Milos, and Crete.
Greece is beautiful all year round, but the ideal time to go on our ‘Greek Island Hopping’ trip is between April - May or September - October. Those months see fewer tourists, prices are more affordable and the heat is less intense.
With over 1,000 islands under their belt, there certainly are plenty of options to choose from when it comes to Croatia. The most popular ones are Hvar, Korcula, Vis, Brac, Mljet, Ran, Duhi Ook, Pag, and Krk.
