If you (that's almost everyone) enjoyed childhood stories of Vikings then here's something you don't want to miss. This museum has preserved Viking ships Gokstad, Tune and Oseberg. If that's not enough, there are displays of skeletons found alongside the boats. Different domestic items such as carts, tools, jewellery and textiles from Vikings age are also exhibited here. After being mesmerized by the showcase you can purchase jewellery, books, wood carvings, posters, postcards and an even replica of the Viking ships at the museum store.
