Late spring (May–June) and early fall (September) are ideal. You’ll enjoy pleasant weather, blooming landscapes, and festivals galore. Summer's great, too - if you don’t mind some crowds.

Around 2-5 days are enough to see Riga and nearby gems. If you want to dive deeper into the countryside and national parks, a week will give you more breathing room.
