clear searchAsia’s huge. So, the best time to visit depends on where you plan on travelling. For example, between March and April is the perfect time to visit Japan if you wanna catch the cherry blossom festival, or India if you wanna see all the colourful Holi celebrations. If Southeast Asia’s more your thing, the weather is usually best between November and April. Again, it all depends on what’s happening (and when) - so get researching!
This will depend on your country of origin. Luckily for you, we made a helpful guide that’ll tell you everything you need to know.
This depends when and where you’re visiting in Asia, not to mention what you plan to do while you’re there. That being said, you probably can’t go wrong with bringing:
• Hydration tablets
• A portable fan
• A sweat rag
• Good socks
• Insect repellant
• Travel adaptors
• Tote/laundry bag
ATM access in Asia will depend where you are. In the major cities, you’ll find ATMs pretty easy to come by. In more rural areas though, you may have to look a little harder or go without. Want our advice? Keep some spare cash in your wallet, just in case.
You certainly can! All of our trips are available to book online, just select your preferred travel date(s) and away you go. You can also book over the phone if you'd prefer.
It depends how much you want to see! Luckily for you, Contiki trips range from one week to one month long, so there’s a trip to suit any amount of free time.
This will vary depending on the country/region you’re in, but generally no. Tipping is more common in Europe and the Americas, but is not a staple of Asian culture.
In most cases, we’d recommend sticking to bottled water during your trip to Asia.
