Kick off this trip in the land of the Lord of the Rings – Wellington (be sure to quad bike in the bush!) Take in a dinner sunset cruise on Lake Taupo and brave the Rock’N’Ropes course. In Rotorua try the Zorb or skyline gondola and end the day relaxing in a Polynesian thermal pool. Experience black water rafting in the underground caves of Waitomo, and in the Bay of Islands discover sand dune surfing. Finally, the good times must come to an end in Auckland, the country’s largest city.
