Scuba Diving

Explore the underwater caves of Mykonos Island. Choose from a range of dives including full PADI and CMAS courses from beginners to advanced. To dive you’ll need a diving medical certificate that is best obtained prior to arrival. The learn to dive package (PADI accredited) includes pool or shallow water training, 4 ocean dives, all diving equipment and certification. Beach and boat dives (for beginners and experienced), Dive courses and FREE snorkelling available daily. Prices start from €17,00.

Windsurfing

Mykonos is home to some of Europe’s biggest windsurfing contests and it’s the place to give it a go as the best windsurfing school in Mykonos is located on Kalafatis Beach, right next door to Contiki Resort Mykonos. From beginner lessons to refresher and advanced technique courses, with all the latest windsurfing equipment, here’s your chance to learn from the masters. Watersports

Head to the sports hut on the beach in front of Contiki Resort for a huge range of water sports ranging from water-skiing, banana boats, wakeboards, tubes and jet-skis.   • Paradise beach is one of Mykonos’ most famous beaches where you can explore the beach and also witness some of Europe’s best beach parties. So, how do I get there, you ask? There are a number of options for getting to Mykonos island… it’s up to you to decide how quickly you want to get the party started!

Fly

From UK

There are a number of charter airlines, providing flights from the UK to Mykonos, which you can book through Contiki when making your reservation. Alternatively, simply click on the link to book a flight directly with EasyJet.

From ATHENS

There are two main domestic carriers, Olympic Airways and Aegean Air, offering up to 10 flights a day during peak season. Details available from your local travel agent or Contiki Reservations.

Ferry

Mykonos is well connected by ferries from neighbouring islands and from Athens on the mainland. From Athens, ferries leave daily and are operated by a number of different companies. You can choose from Seacat fast ferry or normal slower ferry services depending upon the time of day you want to travel. The journey time from Athens port Piraeus by fast ferry is around 3 hours and by slower ferry around 6 hours. The first ferry to the island leaves Athens at 7:30 am and the last is at 8:00 pm. Ferries can be booked at the Port of Piraeus (Athens). To avoid disappointment we recommend you book in advance.

Island Transfer

When you arrive in Mykonos, you will be met and transferred to the resort. You will also be transferred to the port or airport upon departure (only applies for pre-booked transfers). Make sure you advise us in advance by email (minimum 48 hours) of your arrival details to Mykonos so you can receive your included port or airport transfer to the resort. You may be combining one of our tours that finishes in Athens with a stay on the resort. Take the stress out of organising your transfers and ferry and buy a return transfer from your Athens hotel to the port and your return ferry ticket. No problem!
