Beaches - Nice
To the surprise of many, a lot of the beaches in the Nice are made up of wide, rounded pebbles. For those more accustomed to the sand beaches of Bondi, Durbin and California, it takes a little bit of getting used to. Be wary of gladiators outside the colosseum. They don't take photos for free and can be quite agressive about their payment. Also don't be fooled into taking an unlicensed guided tour of the Colosseum either....
Make sure you try currywurst in Germany. It's basically a hot dog with tomato sauce (ketchup) and curry powder. Tastes brilliant and only costs 1 or 2 Euro.
I bought a high sierra duffel bag - it has a zip down panel on the back and you can pull out the back pack straps…I also have a laptop back pack…
