1. For the last several years, the best entertainment on Easter Sunday in San Francisco has been the BYOBW (Bring Your Own BigWheel) race. A bunch of folks show up (almost all in various costumes), hop on their plastic children’s tricycles, and have series of races down the steep curves of Lombard street.

2. If you can get up early enough (or haven’t gone to bed yet), watching the sun come up behind the Eiffel tower is an unforgettable experience. Some of the best viewing is from the Place du Trocadero, but it’s hard to go wrong if you’re anywhere in the area.
