Tips to avoid Jetlag-Don’t eat a lot in the days leading up to your flight, sleep well in the days to departure.Once on the plane drink lots of water, avoid alcohol, sleep, excercise and don’t forget to set your watch to your destination time zone!

I would go a suitcase with wheels any day of the week!As a small petite female there is no way I could lug a large backpack around a country for a month!Trust me when you get to the airport after spending 13 hours + on a flight wheels are you’re best friend!

I did my first contiki in 2001 when I didn’t even have a full time job! It took me 18 months of hard saving on a part time wage to get on the plane and it was worth every sat night I spent in to get there!I guess you have to work out what’s more important!Going out every Sat night or going on the holiday of your dreams!My advice is do whatever it takes to save as much $ as you can cuz this is a once in a lifetime experience!

I have done 3 contiki tours so far and as an ‘Over 30’person the last thing i wanna do is get waisted every night!Contiki has the right mix of places to party as or just as many where you can enjoy stimulating conversation!The choice is yours!

I did my first contiki in 2001 alone!It was the best thing i ever did and i had an absolute ball!The tour manager and driver make youe feel incredibly welcome and best of all i had some amazing freinds some of who i am still mates with!I am about to go to america in a few months with people i met on my last contiki tour in mid 2006!Just do it!
