More About Me

Hello! Where to begin? Life is great! I have a million + interests, language and people being just a few. I would really love to become completely fluent in French, which I have been learning off and on since I was 11. I work for an environmental charity and I'm also a vegan and I LOVE the outdoors. I live in Vancouver Canada, but I'm really from a small town in the country and my heart is always there. I hope to meet a wide variety of people on here to expand my language skills and of course my social realm :) I love to travel and I've been to Korea, Peru, New York, and various parts of Canada, Quebec and Nova Scotia being highlights- all my travels have been humbling and beautiful experiences. I was in New York for New Years 2008- what a great experience! Needless to say, I fell in love with the city and I am planning to return one day. I am very open-minded and I think everyone deserves kindness- so no negative people please. I am currently a student of English literature and I have a diploma in Film - writing and production. I am also a group fitness instructor (TBC and Step) and I plan to get my personal training certification soon as well (I'm about half way done the courses for that). Health and fitness are a big part of my life - I love feeling good and love helping others feel good about themselves too. At the end of April my best friend and I are going to Europe- we will be flying into Dublin and spending 5 days or so there, and then over to England to visit his family and then we are doing the contiki camping tour that starts in London and ends in Athens! I am super excited and hope to use couch surfing for the Ireland experience- We might stay in a hostel but it would still be nice to meet some cool cats ahead of time to hang out with once we are there.
