Travelling solo to Los Angeles, Las Vegas & San Fran in December 2009, followed by New Years in New York and then 3 months working in London. From April - June I will be backpacking the remainder of the UK & Europe! I plan to finish my trip with a stopover in Thailand on the way home to Melbourne in June!

Hi All,

I am going on a Contiki Tour soon which spends a few days in Lake Tahoe. I have never seen/ been to the snow before & I am unsure of what type of clothing to bring which would be “appropriate”. Should I hire ski clothes in the US or should I bring some with me? Any advice which you could give me would be much appreciated!
