Florence
- ‘Montebuoni’ Tuscan Dinner (Euro 37.00)
Montebuoni’ is a charming 16th Century building set in the scenic Tuscan hills. It’s the venue for our truly traditional Tuscan evening. Begin with a cocktail and an excellent antipasta buffet. September 26: Arrive Rome
Check in to your hotel and this evening meet your Tour Manager and get to know your fellow Contiki travelers over dinner. Then hit the streets for some sightseeing of Italy’s ancient capital city. (D)- See Piazza Venezia, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Colosseum and Roman Forum
September 27: Rome
Tap into ‘La Dolce Vita’ of the “Eternal City” and explore this living museum. Get a feeling for Imperial Rome’s glory on an optional tour of the Roman Forum and Colosseum. (B)
September 28: Rome to Florence
Pass through rural Umbria’s rolling hills and terraced vineyards to Renaissance Florence. A local guide gives you the inside track on the city’s striking buildings and sacred art. (B,D)- See St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City

September 29: Florence

September 30: Florence
Take a day trip out to the hills of the rustic Chianti region for a wine tasting and a stop in medieval San Gimignano – the quintessential Tuscan town. (B)
October 1: Florence to Venice
Roll through the Tuscan hillside, stopping in Pisa to check out its architectural wonder, The Leaning Tower. Snake through the Apennine Mountains to fairytale Venice. (B,D)- See the Bridge of Sighs, the Doges’ Palace & St. Mark’s Square in Venice
October 2: Venice
Meander through the ‘floating city’s’ tight alleyways and canals to find grand squares, art-filled palazzos, interesting little shops, bars and markets. (B)- Private motorboat to the historic Venetian islands

October 3: Depart Venice / Rome
The tour ends after breakfast in Venice and it’s time to say “arrivederci” to your new friends. Or if you prefer, catch a free transfer back to Rome where your tour ends when you arrive. (B)

Booking Conditions
Prices are per person in US Dollars based on twin share. Single rooms may be requested, subject to availability, for an additional charge. Triple rooms are also available with a reduction off of the land price.
Roommate matching: If passengers requesting twin or triple share do not have a roommate, we can match them with others within their own group or from other groups so that they will not have to pay a single supplement.
All passengers must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
Air: Air can be requested through Contiki Holidays at the time of an individual booking and deposit. Please inquire for details on air rates, schedules and availability.
Insurance: Travel insurance is strongly recommended and is available through Contiki Holidays. Basic insurance can be purchased for $109 per person and Preferred insurance can be added for an additional $35 per person. To receive full benefits of the insurance, payment for insurance must be made within 48 hours of the initial deposit.
95 days prior to departure any unused allocated space will be released and will be available on a first come first served basis.
21-14 days prior to departure travel documents will be sent.
Payments:
A $200 per person deposit plus insurance (if purchasing) and a completed registration form is required for an individual to book into the group block.
60 days prior to departure final payment is due.
Tour Cancellation Policy:
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Individual cancellations outside 60 days prior to departure will forfeit deposits.
Individual cancellations between 60 – 22 days prior to departure incur a 25% cancellation penalty.
Individual cancellations between 21 – 8 days prior to departure incur a 30% cancellation penalty.
Individual cancellations between 7 – 1 days prior to departure incur a 50% cancellation penalty.
Individual cancellations on or after the day of departure incur a 100% cancellation penalty.
