MAY 26: AUSTRIAN TYROL TO VENICE MEALS: CB
Today we wind through the astonishing beauty of the Brenner Pass to cross the border into Italy. It’s a short boat ride to the historical centre of Venice to see St Mark’s Square, the Doge’s Palace and the Bridge of Sighs. There’s no better way to see Venice than from a gondola so why not join us for a ride before treating yourself to a Venetian evening meal?

MAY 27: VENICE TO ROME MEALS: CB,D
Past medieval hillside villages and through the Apennine Mountains, we travel south to the fabled Seven Hills of Rome. Do as the Romans do and stroll past the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. Later be delighted by your first glimpse of the Colosseum on our sightseeing tour.

Our morning drive leads us to Florence, the Renaissance city set in the beautiful Tuscan Hills. Learn about the Duomo, Giotto’s Bell-Tower, Piazza della Signoria and Santa Croce as our local guide walks us through the city. Free time to shop or visit one of the famous museums.

MAY 30: FLORENCE TO LUCERNE MEALS: CB, D
Our path takes us toward the towering Alps and the vast serene lakes of Switzerland. Be charmed by medieval Lucerne and enjoy shopping for local specialties – watches, chocolate and Swiss army knives.

MAY 31: LUCERNE TO PARIS MEALS: CB, D
Our focus today is the journey to Paris. We weave our way through the beautiful French countryside to the “City of Lights”.

JUNE 1: PARIS MEALS: CB
Visit a French perfume house and then take the opportunity to visit some of the most celebrated icons of Europe. The Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Nôtre Dame, Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysées all await your arrival! Tonight, why not complete your Parisian experience with a French meal and a famous cabaret?

After breakfast, there will be a transfer for you to Charles de Gaulle airport or choose to take a complimentary transfer to central London and extend your stay.

Booking Conditions

Prices are per person in US Dollars based on twin share. Single rooms may be requested, subject to availability, for an additional charge. Triple rooms are also available with a reduction off of the land price.
Roommate matching: If passengers requesting twin or triple share do not have a roommate, we can match them with others within their own group or from other groups so that they will not have to pay a single supplement.
All passengers must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
Air can be requested through Contiki Holidays at the time of an individual booking and deposit. Please inquire for details on air rates, schedules and availability.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended and is available through NC State University Alumni Association
We require a minimum of 20 passengers in order to operate a custom group. If the group does not have at least 20 passengers booked by 100 days prior to departure we reserve the right to cancel your
departure.
The number of triple rooms is limited in Europe and are used to avoid single supplements for odd numbers. It is not possible to accommodate the entire group in triple rooms.
21-14 days prior to departure travel documents will be sent.

Payments:
A $200 per person deposit plus insurance (if purchasing) and a completed registration form is required for an individual to book into the group block.
60 days prior to departure final payment is due.

Tour Cancellation Policy:
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Individual cancellations outside 60 days prior to departure will forfeit deposits.
Individual cancellations between 60 - 14 days prior to departure incur a 50% cancellation penalty.
Individual cancellations within 14 days of departure incur a 100% cancellation penalty.
