About Our Boat
As our sailing boat is newly-built and it’s quite a lot larger than others in Croatia of it’s level. This all adds up to great comfort. We feature:
- 20 cabin sailing boat (A+ class with steel hull many others are wooden hulled boats which means we are faster getting between ports and secluded beaches)
- There’s more than one spacious deck, including a rear deck seating areas that is well shaded and a top deck with
- Great dining room and well-stocked bar area with lots of space to spread out and relax
- Variety of chairs to relax in from sun lounges to cushioned seats
- Hotel standard bedrooms (a spacious size of 4m x 4m)
- Twin (single beds) or double rooms complete with a TV, air-conditioning, and an ensuite bathroom with shower
- Our boat has ‘Above Deck’ cabins with a door that opens to the outside and ‘Below Deck’ cabins with a port hole to the outside and door that opens to the inside.
- Buffet breakfast (included) features a selection of salami, cheese, jams and yogurts, fruit juices, tea and coffee. Fresh fruit is available throughout the day.
There’s plenty of soft drinks, beer or wine available from the bar during the day and evening. Lunch (included) features a mixture of fish and meat dishes. Typical meals could include pasta with lobster sauce, grilled fresh fish with side dishes of vegetables and salad, pasta with a variety of sauces and grilled steaks all followed by yummy home-made desserts. We cater to all dietary requirements with prior notice.
Important tips
- If you check out Croatian sailing options other than Contiki, make sure you look at the boat and its accommodation standard online before you book. Not all boats are created equally! Contiki’s boats are hotel standard, while most others are hostel ‘bunk’ standard and were built in the 1920’s.
- The amount of space you have onboard is important. Crusing for several days in a row and sharing small spaces can wear pretty thin pretty quick! That’s why Contiki’s boats were built to accommodate large decks, cabins and public areas – so you have plenty room to enjoy your cruise.
