2. Hallo Cori,
   Let me guess- 1.5 hours from Munchen. Would that be Regensburg,Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Passau( Northern Franconia) or more towards the south around Oberammergau, Augsburg side? It is such a nice state and the Bayerisch Deutsch spoken is so unique in Bayern. Its a very nice sounding accent which I notice is differnt throughout the state.
