I’ve booked LA explorer (7-10 aug 2011 ) matching with LA to the bay. Contiki can’t book for me a prenight on 6th Aug, the hotel is full. Any advise where I can book? I was thinking of booking a hotel near the airport and coming to the hotel where the tour starts in the morning. I should move to the right hotel anyway.

I would highly recommend finding some more suitable Honolulu hotels as well. There are so many great places to stay it can sometimes be hard to choose.

I’ve just booked my Northern Escape for august 2011 starting in Chicago but the hotel I book throguh Contiki is defferent to the one on this site why is that. On the Brochure its got Best Western Grant Park Hotel and on here its got Bay Inn? Confused

Recent Tips
For ladies I would definitely recommend finding some slightly nicer than normal black flats... I bought some in Prague for super cheap and still wear them all the time!
Christmas Markets in Vienna are great. Buy some mulled wine (Gluhwein in German)which is served hot and is quite spicy. The mug it comes in is yours to keep - a great souvenir -but if you don't want it return it and get your €2 deposit back (Pfand).
If you are doing a time out tour (staying in hotels), a travel iron/hairdryer will come in handy as many european hotels do not provide these facilities.
