White Water madness! The rapids of the Tully River are Grade 3-4 and recognised as the best rafting river across Australia and New Zealand.
The Tully River is 2 hours south of Cairns and has the reputation as the wettest place in Australia (it has an annual average rainfall of 4.27 metres and holds the record for the highest annual rainfall in a populated area of Australia, with 7.9 metres in 1950)

I'm a Bondi local...it is always packed with people...if you're looking for a more chilled beach hang out, check out Tamarama, Coogee or Bronte beach, all 5-10mins from Bondi.
Definitely worth doing if you are in any way interested in Ancient Rome - the guide is a wealth of knowledge.
If you are doing a time out tour (staying in hotels), a travel iron/hairdryer will come in handy as many european hotels do not provide these facilities.
