As you approach, the tips come into sight and slowly you are granted an opportunity to view the only remaining member of the 7 Ancient Wonders of the World, the Pyramids of Giza. Built over 4,000 years ago they are a testament to what the ancient Egyptians valued most – the afterlife.

Itter was one of the nicest town's I've ever been in, absolutely gorgeous. It's a sleepy town, but on Contiki you bring your own nightlife. This was one stop I wont forget.
Make sure you try currywurst in Germany. It's basically a hot dog with tomato sauce (ketchup) and curry powder. Tastes brilliant and only costs 1 or 2 Euro.
I bought a high sierra duffel bag - it has a zip down panel on the back and you can pull out the back pack straps…I also have a laptop back pack…
