More Tour and Travel Advice for New Zealand
What to pack for travel to other parts of the world

The following is a suggested packing list for a New Zealand tour.
New Zealand is well known for having ‘4 seasons in one day’ – In other words, you should expect almost any type of weather at any time of day.
People are individuals and often have personal preferences and opinions as to what to bring. The following then is not a definitive list, but should give you a good guide as to what you should pack for you to enjoy your New Zealand tour.
Clothes
- 1 Rainproof jacket
- 1 Warm jacket
- 1 or 2 pairs of Jeans
- Shorts/skirts
- 2 or 3 Casual shirts
- 2 T-shirts
- 1 or 2 Jacket and trousers/Dress (for evenings out)
- 1 thick sweater/jumper
- 1 Tracksuit
- Socks (lots)
- Underwear (lots)
- 1 or 2 Nightwear
- 1 or 2 Swimwear and towel
Shoes
- Thongs/flip flops/sandals
- Going out shoes
- Comfortable walking shoes (for outdoor activities)
Toiletries
- Toiletry bag and contents
- Sun tan lotion
- Insect repellent
- Aspirin/Medicines, etc.
- Handkerchiefs/tissues
Miscellaneous
- Washing powder
- Clothes pegs
- Sewing kit
- Writing materials
- Address book
- Alarm clock
- Small overnight bag
- Motion sickness pills
- Camera, batteries, film/memory sticks/storage devices
Label your suitcase inside and out with your name and your home address and perhaps attach a sticker, ribbon, patch or other unique identifier to your luggage to make it easier to spot.
Carry a copy of your passport, visas, travel and other important documents as well as your travellers cheque numbers (if you use them) with you in your luggage. You should also leave a copy of all this information at home with someone trusted and contactable while you are away.
Don’t pack your travel documents and passport in your luggage, rather take it with you in your carry luggage.
Remember to bring more than enough of any medication you might need along with you and carry prescriptions for any medications that you carry with you.

a statement that tells a graduate admissions committee all about you and can potentially make or break your application is stressful. Take a different perspective, however, and you will find that your admissions essay is what ensures that you match up with a graduate program that will offer you the training you need for the career.admissions essay

I know that everybody must say the same thing, but I just think that you put it in a way that everyone can understand. I also love the images you put in here

Thanks for the suggested packing list for New Zealand. This is very helpful. I don’t want to overpack or underpack, so I will be printing this out. I do have a question about shoes. You said to pack Thongs, flip flops, or sandals. I have a pair of
Crocs, and I wondered if that would be okay.
