St Peter in Chains

The most famous piece inside the church of St Peter in Chains (San Pietro in Vincoli) is the ‘Moses’ sculpture by Michelangelo. The church is also home to the chains that allegedly held St. Peter before he was martyred by the Emperor Nero in ancient Rome.

St Peter in Chains is only a short walk north of the Colosseum in Rome, Italy.
