Spanish Riding School - Vienna

Vienna’s Hofberg Palace is home to the Spanish Horse School and it’s prancing Lipizzaner stallions and when visiting Vienna on tour it’s possible to visit the home of the famous horse and perhaps (according to their schedule) see a live performance or training session.

The home of the horses in the Winter Riding School in the heart of the city and if you’re not lucky enough to see the horses perform, then you can visit the museum dedicated to the 400 plus years of history associated with the worlds oldest riding school.

The Lipizzaner stallions also share the massive Hofburg palace with Vienna Boys Choir and a number of museums.
