Shopping -Montreal

Montreal is home to over 7 miles (more than 11 kilometres) of underground shopping. Although beautiful and warm during the summer months, the city is bitterly cold during the winter so the underground malls make moving around the city a warm and pleasant experience.

Recent Tips
Be wary of gladiators outside the colosseum. They don't take photos for free and can be quite agressive about their payment. Also don't be fooled into taking an unlicensed guided tour of the Colosseum either....
My best advice is to step outside your comfort zone and make an effort to talk to EVERYONE on tour. I made friends from 6 continents on the one tour!!!
A tip for people looking for a decent coffee shop.. if you don't already know about it, you will because most Contiki travellers find out about it - its The Grasshopper. Ask a local and they should be able to tell you where to find it.
