shopping in barcelona

Spain is a little cheaper than other European regions, and during sales this is even more pronounced. The city center of Barcelona is filled with shops. The most famous street in the city is Las Ramblas and the area between the Placa de Catalunya and the Columbus Monument is filled with the regular tourist, retail and dining experiences you would expect on any other tourist strip in the world. For a more genuine retail experience the side streets are filled with smaller stores.

The main retail street for the city is the Portal de L’Angel, which runs parallel to Las Ramblas while the department store El Corte Ingles can be found through out the city and has almost anything and everything.

Check out some European shopping tips to help you get even more out of your shopping experience while you travel Europe.
