It perfectly completes a full day in Edinburgh by the group heading to the Murrayfield pub (across from the Scotish National Rugby Stadium and enjoy a traditional Scottish meal with the choices including Haggis, Salmon, Beef and fine Scottish cheeses…This is followed by the main event, Andy the bagpiper. Andy has served for his country, played the pipes for the queen and is able to combine classic pipe pieces with commentary of his life – he’s an unconfessed comedian which the group come away loving. The Great Britian and Ireland tours only leave once a week and there are clients who just do Scotland, so popularity is high.

One of the best evenings you can have in Europe, it is a taste of Scotland with traditional fayre, as well as entertainment from one of the best piper’s in the land. He’s the best because, although his piping is ok, he’s probably the funniest guy you will ever meet. Learn about how the pipes inspire some of the bravest soldiers fight battles from Scottish history, why the Scottish men – some of the fieriest men in the world, like wearing skirts (ahem, kilts) and whether they really do go commando underneath…

That is a great picture of Claire and Andrew! The Scottish Evening is a great way to say farewell to Edinburgh, you can taste some delicious Haggis as an appetizer (great for those who don’t want a full meal out of it!), great entertainment by Andrew the pipeman, picture taking opportunities and a nice private atmosphere for the group, do be prepare to eat too much! It was a great start to the Scottish adventure as we headed for the Highlands the next day! Much recommended!
