More Tour and Travel Advice for New Zealand

The pre departure meetings are a great opportunity for you to meet your Tour Manager and your fellow travelers but also saves a lot of time the next morning.

Your pre departure meeting will depend on what city your tour is starting in.

Tours starting in Christchurch

If your tour is departing from the Bealeys Hotel in Christchurch, your Tour Manger will post a notice in the hotel lobby advising you of your pre departure get together.

Please bring your passport to the meeting along with your Contiki travel documents. Meetings are usually in the early evening and afterwards many people head out together for a meal. If you need some recommendations, your Tour Manager will be able to recommend some of the best value places in town.

Other Tours

If your tour starts in Auckland, Queenstown or Wellington you should check your Contiki Travel Documents for your tour departure time and place.

What to bring

You should bring along to the meeting:

  2. Hi,
I don’t think I’ll be able to make it to my pree-departure meeting for Grand Adventurer departing Christchurch 26/12/10. Am I going to miss anything vital? If the tour departs at 8am, what time do I need to be there?
    Thanks
