Venice is a must see city for anyone who travels to Europe and it’s unique nature and beauty make visiting it an unforgettable experience. For those who have lived the experience before, or those who have a whole day on the island, there are a number of smaller islands around Venice that are easily reached by motor boat.

  • Lido Island, a 20 to 30 minute boat ride from the south of the main island of Venice and is a is a busy and popular beach destination during the summer months.
  • Murano is the home of Venetian glass production and while maintaining the same ‘feel’ as the main island, is much quieter. About a 15 minute boat journey from the north of the island.
  • Burano is also another smaller island in Venetian archipelago that can also be reached from the north of the island
