Montreal’s Notre Dame Basilica completed in 1888, was modeled after the one in Paris. It is Montreal’s 2nd largest church with a capacity for over 5000 people. Very much a working church you can attend services (Catholic) there or simply sit inside the Cathedral and take in the awesome azure blue light from the amazing stained glass and intricate wood work from the 17th century. The church was also the site of Celene Dion’s wedding.
