Beale Street is Memphis’s version of New Orleans’ Bourbon Street, except smaller and cleaner!
A visit to Beale Street is a true taste of the history and culture of the south. This is the place where blues music was born and is celebrated on a daily basis by people of all backgrounds. See authentic bands performing on a daily basis in any of the vibrant venues along the portion of Beale Street closed off to all but pedestrian traffic.
As you would on Bourbon, take your drink out onto the street and bounce from one bar to the next well into the night. Whether it’s karoke at Alfred’s, one of 300 different beers at the Flying Saucer, ladies night at Club Atlas, or blues and cocktails at B.B. King’s Blues Club, it is virtually impossible not to have fun in Memphis!
Grab a drink and stroll the streets taking in the sights and sounds of this incredibly lively city with a small town feel.
