Milford Sound

Milford Sound, on the west coast of New Zealand’s South Island is perhaps the most well known of all the country’s natural wonders. The Sound is a massive fjord carved out by an ancient glacier with it’s mouth opening into the Tasman Straight of the Pacific Ocean.

MOMA is well worth a visit, and if you're short on cash, has free entry between 4pm-8pm on Friday nights. It does get very crowded though...
My advice would be to do as many excursions as you can. They are a great way to get to know your group, and they are always good fun.
