South from Katherine in the Northern Territory is the Mataranka Pool Reserve, near the Mataranka Homestead. Thermal springs surround lush, tropical forest and the warm body temperature waters are great for a relaxing swim.
Mataranka is also home to the historic Elsey homestead, setting for Jeannie Gunn’s book ‘We of the Never-Never’.

There's a lot to see in Italy, but beware of the seriously hot summer weather.
Be wary of gladiators outside the colosseum. They don't take photos for free and can be quite agressive about their payment. Also don't be fooled into taking an unlicensed guided tour of the Colosseum either....
For a great view of the city (especially at night) go to the top of the Eiffel Tower at Paris. It also offers a great vantage point for viewing the water show at the Bellagio.
