Laundry facilities are very common and easily accessible on all tours throughout the USA and Canada .
A large number of the hotels used by Contiki have coin operated laundry facilities on their grounds. Very often, if the hotels themselves do not have washing machines and dryers, then there will be washing facilities within very easy reach of the hotel.
You will very rarely go for 3 or more days without having good and easy access to laundry facilities on any USA or Canada tour.
Knowing the availability of laundry facilities can help you decide what to pack for your tour in the USA or Canada.

If you are worried about pick pocketers go to www.pacsafe.com they have slash proof bags and purses as well as camera straps. Great for guys and gals. I used the citysafe 200 and its great.
I'm a Bondi local...it is always packed with people...if you're looking for a more chilled beach hang out, check out Tamarama, Coogee or Bronte beach, all 5-10mins from Bondi.
My best advice is to step outside your comfort zone and make an effort to talk to EVERYONE on tour. I made friends from 6 continents on the one tour!!!
