One of the optionals you can do in Sydney is Jet Boating on Sydney Harbour. The setting is gorgeous – the Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, City skyline…but it will all turn into a stomach churning blur once the boat ride begins.
The general idea is that you get into a very high-powered boat and charge around the place with a driver who lives to scare the hell out of you! It is really fun, there will be a lot of laughs and squeals…and I can almost guarantee that you will not finish the ride with being soaking wet!
Jet Boating is offered as an optional excursion on Contiki Australia Tours finishing the tour in Sydney.

I went on two tours alone...I made life-long friends along the way! That's the nature of Contiki.
MOMA is well worth a visit, and if you're short on cash, has free entry between 4pm-8pm on Friday nights. It does get very crowded though...
Definitely worth doing if you are in any way interested in Ancient Rome - the guide is a wealth of knowledge.
