Berlin has been witness to incredible upheaval and change during the last century and the events that have taken place in the city have sent tidal waves of change around not only Europe but the entire globe.

From the Imperial Splendor that made it the capital of the German Empire to its revolution, civil war and evolution as the heart of the Nazi Third Reich, the flashpoint and spark that began the Cold War, the city became a symbol of the division between east and west and easily the most memorable icon of the changing times in the late 80’s and early 90’s.

Sights like the Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie, the Reichstag Building, the Berliner Dom and the Alexanderplatz are but just a few of the history-drenched sights that you can see as you travel through the capital of Germany.

A Berlin Historical Walking Tour is a must do for almost everyone visiting the city.
