One of the best things I love taking my groups on is the Canal Cruise along the Canals in Amsterdam. Getting to see the groups reaction to all the amazing buildings lit up at night is why I do the job, and a few drinks along the way always helps…

One and half hours cruising on the canals of Amsterdam! Its a private boat, local guide, seeing the sights and maybe a little dancing with the help of an open bar. Great for the first night of tour as a meet and greet, and even better as an end of tour farewell party!
Canal Cruises in Amsterdam are offered as optional excursions on Contiki Europe Tours travelling to Amsterdam.

To be honest, you wont even pay attention to whats going on around you – its your last night so you tend to be too preoccupied with taking pics with your tourmates and enjoying what time you have left!

Recent Tips
If you are worried about pick pocketers go to www.pacsafe.com they have slash proof bags and purses as well as camera straps. Great for guys and gals. I used the citysafe 200 and its great.
This is a FANTASTIC tour for a city person. The shopping, dining, nightlife, and cultural opportunities are limitless as each city seems to outshine the last.
My best advice is to step outside your comfort zone and make an effort to talk to EVERYONE on tour. I made friends from 6 continents on the one tour!!!
