English is considered the international language of communication and is one of the widely used forms of communication in th world and as such, many people the world over will speak varying degrees of English as a second language.
It should never however be expected that people can (or will want to) communicate in English if it is not their native language and it is only polite to know a few basic words in the native language of the countries you travel trough.
Please note: All Contiki Tours are conducted in English.

MOMA is well worth a visit, and if you're short on cash, has free entry between 4pm-8pm on Friday nights. It does get very crowded though...
For ladies I would definitely recommend finding some slightly nicer than normal black flats... I bought some in Prague for super cheap and still wear them all the time!
This is awesome - you have to do it - so much information about the city - it really has an amazing history.
