group, dressing up for a night out in vegas

By – Ellen Nowakowski, Tour Manager, USA

As a traveller aboard a Contiki tour you will see all types of people and places. With the array of destinations along the way, comes an array of nightlife activities. While many places have no dress code requirements, there are certain nights on tour when everybody dresses ‘to the 9’s’ for a big night out.

Large cities such as Las Vegas and New York are prime spots to ‘gussy up’ and hit the town. For girls this means nice tops and shoes. Guys should remember that button down shirts are usually a must for clubs in these places and tennis shoes and thongs are a definite no-no. Jeans are acceptable but remember to pack your best dancing shoes for those party nights on tour!

  1. North American Tour Managers sometimes have theme dress nights on tour. The variety of themes vary with tour managers. These are fun nights to mix it up with the group. No need to bring any particular costumes because the tour manager should let you know in advance about these events.
