Contiki travel documents
Last Updated: Sep. 24, 2011
More Tour and Travel Advice for: Australia, USA & Canada, Australia and New Zealand
Once you have booked and paid for your tour and your tour departure have been confirmed, you will receive your Contiki travel documents in the mail. They should arrive roughly 3 weeks before your tour departs.
Your Contiki travel documents you receive in the mail includes:
- Travel and accommodation vouchers
- Detailed itinerary and accommodation listings
- Contiki travellers guide booklet
- Your free Contiki document wallet
- Contiki luggage tag
- Contiki e-Kit Global Phone Card
If you are leaving before your travel documents should arrive, you can call Contiki (or your Travel Agent) and ask them if the tour departure date is confirmed, and if so, can they please send your documents out earlier. If not, Contiki can e-mail you your travel documents and vouchers.
If you leave home and haven’t received your travel documents, it’s not the end of the world, as long as your tour departure date is confirmed (and so is your booking and payment) you’ll be fine. Just ask Contiki to e-mail the documents and vouchers and you can just print them out while you’re away from home.
Likewise, if you book just before the start of the tour with no time for mailing, Contiki will email or fax you your documents.

How much should I pay for its mailing as I live in Brazil?
The ebrochure says it would cost a minimum fee of $ 50, if sent outside USA. The ammount would be advised at the time of the booking. But I’m afraid I was not informed about that or how much it would cost (or at least, I didn’t notice this)…

If you are between 18 and 35, and want to have a absolutely remarkable vacation, then Contiki is the company for you. Maybe you were like me, and had never heard of Contiki.. I am somewhat past the 35-year age limit but none the less; this is a splendid company that you need to know about. Maybe you have young adults in your family, or you are in the age group that Contiki caters to, if so consider the benefits of a Contiki holiday. Medical Billing From Home

I always like to read articles on political issues. I’m very curious after more than two years how the team that Barack Obama picked managed to resolve sensitive issues such as health care reform, education and the war in Irak.pool cover pum

We can either fight battle — we can fight this oil — on the Barrier Islands 15 to 20 miles off of our coast, or we can face it in thousands of miles of fragmented wetlands," Gov. Jindal said, clearing favoring the first option. Ya, as lengthy as you booked both tours as the duplicate measure, no problems…if you didn’t book them at the comparable case, fitting let Contiki or whoever booked your shift experience so they can get all the documents to you before you provide.

It really does seem like Contiki travel does a great job of providing travelers with what they need for a great trip. I enjoy the destination reviews the most but also like reading the comments and tips from other travelers. It might be nice to include some airline reviews, especially for some of the lesser know airlines used to travel to these exotic destinations.

Hi,
I have booked (and fully paid) your tour called “Aussie Explorer with Whitsundays” departing June 14th 2009. My agent is called * (I can reveal his name to you if you contact me) claims that my options for getting the Contiki travel documents are a) by e-mail OR b) by collecting them from their offices. My own understanding was that Contiki mails these documents to the customer roughly 3 weeks prior departure. Which statement is correct?
If I am correct, perhaps could you please communicate with my agent (and advise him what to do)?
If my agent is correct, would it be possible, besides collecting the documents from his Sydney office, to get them by e-mail too, in order to have a look at them before departing?Thank you!

Hi, I am travelling with a friend and we tried calling Contiki direct to get confirmation, however they would not speak to us and told us we had to get our agent to call. We explained that our agent has been away (and has not been particuarly helpful anyway), but the person on the other end said that they were unable to confirm anything.

what if you are planning to be visiting relatives/friends in Europe approximately 2-3 weeks before and you do not know the addresses of the accomodation? Iam planning to leave Australia heading to Scottland 2-3 weeks before the tour… Is there anyway to guarentee that I will get the travel documents at a particular time?
