Concerts and Events - Berlin

Berlin in summer is home to many outdoor concerts, festivals and events with some of the more famous including the Berlin Jazz festival, The super-famous but sporadic Love Parade while in winter the city hosts the Berlin Film Festival. Even though Munich lays claim to the biggest event in Germany (the Oktoberfest) there is a far greater variety and regularity of concerts and events in the capital.

Make sure you try currywurst in Germany. It's basically a hot dog with tomato sauce (ketchup) and curry powder. Tastes brilliant and only costs 1 or 2 Euro.
