Cannes is a small resort town on the French Riviera, easily reached by train or bus from the nearby towns of Nice and Antibes. It is a festival town, perhaps most famous for the Cannes Film Festival in May that helps add even more glitz and glamour to the region.

Packed with the rich and famous throughout summer, it is also a good place to get involved in a little bit of European beach culture.
