Beaches - Barcelona

Although not unique, in Europe, it is unusual to have such a large city with beaches so near by. It is easy to take time out from a days site seeing to rest, relax and maybe even have a swim at one of the city beaches of Barcelona. The wide, sandy beaches stretching both north and south from the Port Olympic area are filled with locals and tourists alike soaking up the sun and dipping themselves in the Mediterranean Camping and Concept/Budget Tours have the added advantage of usually staying on a beach at their campsite.

Itter was one of the nicest town's I've ever been in, absolutely gorgeous. It's a sleepy town, but on Contiki you bring your own nightlife. This was one stop I wont forget.
I'm a Bondi local...it is always packed with people...if you're looking for a more chilled beach hang out, check out Tamarama, Coogee or Bronte beach, all 5-10mins from Bondi.
