Austria….land of schnitzel, strudel, the Alps and the great outdoors – Fresh, clean and pristine. This landlocked country is well known for its great and spectacular natural beauty. The soaring mountains, crystal clear lakes, pure streams, and laid back lifestyle in the towns and villages. This casual attitude of the Tyrol region in the west contrasts with the cosmopolitan bustle and majestic grandeur of the eastern capital of Vienna.

Although the official language is German, the Austrians are fiercely independent and proud to be Austrian. The locals are friendly, outgoing and welcoming and speak a wide variety of dialects across the country. Most are as likely to understand English as they are the dialects of their fellow countrymen.

  2. If I was going to live somewhere in Europe it would have to be Austria. So fresh, clean and safe plus the scenery is sensational…. great people, food and lifestyle.
