Angie DiLanzo

Name

Angela DiLanzo

Hometown

Lansdale, Pennsillvania

What other profession would you attempt if you weren’t a tour manager?

I already attempted another profession, TV producer, and I missed the sunshine. Maybe writer, but I feel I’d get lonely. Maybe travel writer b/c that’s the best of both worlds. Maybe event planner as well.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

NYC or London

Craziest/funniest/odd tour moment

Too many! Although the fact that two guys got off in Vegas, rented a car and drove behind the coach all the way back to Anaheim on my FIRST tour was pretty crazy!

What secret talent(s) do you have?

I can single, double, and triple curl my tongue. I can twist my right arm around a full 360 degrees. I’m also a dancing fiend, but that’s no secret.

When you have an hour of free time, what do you like to do?

Go on facebook like a big nerd.

List 5 goals on your life’s to-do list.

Seize opportunities to be kind to others.
Pursue anything with even a small appeal, go at them 100%, accept their outcome and have no regrets.
Make sure my loved ones know they are loved.
Try to learn and experience knew things.
Enjoy the ride – I want to look back when I’m 90 and say I’ve had the best life ever.

What’s your favorite song of all time?

I think I will always like REM and Counting Crows, but I can’t think of any specifics.

If you knew could you try anything and not fail (and money was no object), what dream would you attempt?

I don’t really think about things like “Could I fail?” so if I could just do something wild and know I wouldn’t fail, I’d do something like try to jump the Grand Canyon on a motorcycle. Otherwise, I would never ever do that. And I don’t usually think about motorcycles, I just thought of this now.

What do you like most about your job?

I’m absolutely endeared to people and they consistently do things that are so sweet and funny and it is a privilege to get to witness it. Some of my favorites are my Best of USA tour taking pictures of themselves jay-walking “the NY way”, how I was doing a scavenger hunt and asked for a bra and a 19-year old German girl takes off her shirt THEN her bra and claims she didn’t flash anyone b/c she was facing out the window.. where there were cars passing, how all the boys in my group got up once and karaoke-serenaded me with my LEAST favorite song “Angie” by the Rolling Stones.
